Pastor's Corner The message of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is not comprised of continued speculations regarding world events, economic turmoil, or exposure of doctrinal errors and pagan ideas that dominate the general public's understanding of Christianity. Prophetic speculations coupled with analyses of world events, intended to promote biblical viewpoints and to attract interest, are proving less and less effective. These topics are considered as the means to connect to the general public's receptor points, and are then followed by the introduction of new and alternative ways to look at the world through a biblical perspective. In some cases, it has become obvious they have been designed to sustain a level of sensationalism, which in some cases, has been useful in sustaining church allegiances and drawing crowds of religious hobbyist, but in the end does nothing to further God's will on earth and with the believer.
